Ouendan 2 release date & partial song list
Famitsu Magazine has leaked word for a May 17 release date for Moero! Nekketsu Rhythm Damashii Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan 2 (the sequel to the game that was spun-off into Elite Beat Agents). Famitsu also leaked a partial song list (19 songs), which is understandably mostly J-Pop. Thanks to Jonnyram of NeoGAF for translating the Famitsu in question. Rockman ZX 2!
It turns out that that logo for Rockman ZX Advent was indeed proof that there will be a sequel...which is good news for me. The game has been confirmed for the DS, but no release date has been set, though judging by the earlier information, I'd say it would hit during Rockman's 20th Anniversary celebration, which starts this December.

Maple Story on DS?
According to South Korean developer Nexon, they'll be bring a version of Maple Story, their popular 2D side-scrolling MMORPG, to the DS. The game's set for release in South Korea in September, but as of yet, there are no release plans for outside of the region.

PSone downloads start 11/22...in Japan
Japanese PS3 and PSP owners will soon be able to download and play PSone games on their PSPs. For a list of the first titles available in this service and more information, check out the full article.

Nintendo MP3 Player Goes to Europe
Nintendo has announced that its MP3 player will be released in Europe on December 8th. It is a 512 MB card can hold about 150 MP3s, but in order to get songs on the card, you must buy a card reader, which is sold seperately. The player will sell for roughly 29 Euros, and keep in mind that it will work on both the DS and the various forms of the GBA (the original, SP and Micro).

GPS sells out in Japan
amazon.co.jp has sold out their first shipment of the PSP's new GPS peripheral. Apparently, the customers that bought the device also picked up the new Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, due to the fact that the game supports it. Customers are also picking up the Chotto Shot (the PSP camera).

Nintendo World 2006 announced
Nintendo has announced that a new company event, known as Nintendo World 2006, has been slated for November 25th and 26th in Nagoya, Osaka, and Makuhari Messe Japan. This event will be open to the public and will be free of charge to attend.
